How do you get a Charizard on Pokemon Platinum?
Charizard is the last evolution of the Kanto Region starter Charmander.Because of this you can't get him in the game.You can however, go to pal park & transfer Charizard from a Fire red or Leaf green game.Migrate him from another pokemon game.ChaCha!

About Pokemon Platinum
Pokemon Platinum is an enhanced remake and combination of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl for Nintendo DS. It was released in North America on March 22, 2009 and sold over 7 million copies in Japan. It is an extended remake of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, featuring many elements from those games with expanded storylines and new features.
