How do you get a metal coat in Pokemon diamond?
After you recieve the national dex, go out to Iron Island, which you can get to from Canalave City. Once you reach Iron Island, go up some stairs and you should see a house. Go inside the house and you'll find Byron, the 6th gym leader. ChaCha!

About Pokemon Diamond
Pokemon Diamond is a role-playing game (RPGs) developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo. It released for the Nintendo DS on April 22, 2007. The game adds many new features such as Internet play over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, changes to battle mechanics, and Pokémon Contests. As with the previous games, it is necessary to trade with Pokemon Pearl in order to complete the games' Pokédexes.
