About Cancer
Cancer is defined as an uncontrolled growth of a group of cells in the body. It can have devastating affects. Some cancers are manageable and even curable, others are terminal. It all depends on the type and location of the tumors or cells. Cancer treatments vary from cancer to cancer. Tobacco is a plant of the genus species Nicotiana. It is grown within a warm climate and can be found all over the world. The leaves of the tobacco plant are harvested, dried and then used in for smoking, chewing, dipping tobacco or snuff. It is is an ancient stimulant that grew in popularity in the 20th century as cigarettes provided a convenient and portable way of easily smoking it. Tobacco has been found to cause cancer when smoked or chewed, and nicotine in tobacco is addictive.
