How do you get rosacea?
No one knows for certain, but it may be caused by the facial blood vessels dilating too easily, and the increased blood near the skin surface making the skin appear red and flushed. Various things can increase this redness response. Acne-like bumps may be related to blood flow, skin bacteria, microscopic skin mites, sun damage of the connective tissue under the skin.
