How do you get the rotten egg smell out of well water?
You need to disinfect the well if the source is sulfur-reducing bacteria. Disinfection may reduce or eliminate bacteria and viruses. Disinfection will not correct chemical contamination such as inorganics (nitrate, sulfate), pesticides etc

About Water
Water is by far the most important substance on Earth. Water covers over 70 percent of the planet and makes up between 50 and 75 percent of the human body. About Bacteria
Bacteria are single celled organisms found in every habitat on Earth, growing in soil, acidic hot springs, radioactive waste, water, and deep in the Earth's crust, as well as in organic matter and the live bodies of plants and animals. Some bacteria cause disease but others are essential to the human body. For example, bacteria in the digestion system, help in the healthful digestion of food. Sometimes trying to get bacteria out of one place in your body can cause problems in another.
