How do you hollow out a gourd?
Set gourd in a dry, airy place. 3 to 9 months later, when the gourd is light & seeds rattle, it is dry & ready to clean. Wrap gourd in a wet towel for 2 days, then use steel wool to scrape off the outer skin & mold. Let it dry again. Gourd is ready.
