How do you make Cam Studio not blurry?

Rate This Answer

If you are getting blurs or pixelation, most likely you are over-working something. CamStudio codec is not really designed for screen recordings with lots of movement and action. Your best bet would be to use something like DiVX, XViD or x.264 which are "lossy" compressions methods - the CamStudio codec is a "lossless" codec.

To view the movie in full quality, when using CamStudio you will need to switch Windows Media Player to full screen playback, or switch your monitor to a higher resolution. You may also record a smaller region to avoid this problem. Otherwise you may need to use the Movie Player software that is distributed with the CamStudio package to playback the movie. ChaCha!
