How do you make flavored cupcakes from scratch?

Cream 1 cup butter with 2 cups sugar. I use my Kitchen Aid, but any electric mixer will do. For denser cupcakes mix by hand. Add 4 eggs, 1 cup milk and 1 t baking soda. Add flour slowly. Line cupcake baking pan with paper cupcake holders and spoon in dough. Bake at 365 for 20 minutes. Let cool and frost. Mix frosting ingredients and top as thickly as you like. ChaCha!
