2 tbsp shortening,3 tablespoons white sugar,1c hot water,1 package active dry yeast, 1 egg, beaten,1 tsp salt. 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. Preheat oven to 425.Grease 8 muffin cups.Mix shortening,sugar, hot water. Allow to cool to lukewarm. Mix in the yeast.Divide the dough into the prepared muffin cups, and allow to rise again until doubled in size.Bake10 minutes. Enoy!

Mix: 2 TB shortening * 3 TB sugar * 1 C hot water. Cool to lukewarm, mix in 1 (.25 oz) pkg active dry yeast till dissolvedetc.
