Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (aka CoD: MW2, Modern Warfare 2, or MW2) is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Officially announced on February 11, 2009, the game was released worldwide on November 10, 2009 as the sixth installment of the Call of Duty series. It features a dramatic campaign, a challenging two player cooperative mode, and an amazingly popular and addictive multiplayer mode.
