How do you play the card game war?

To play war, deal deck 1/2 to each player. W/o looking, each flips a card up & whomever has the higher card takes both and (MORE)

War is played using a 52-card deck with aces high. Tricks are played according to rank; suits are ignored. Two players = 26 cards.

War for two players: Deal out all of the cards between the two players. Each player flips a card over, the highest card wins (the loser takes the cards). In the event of a draw, lay out two more cards. The player left with no cards is the winner.

Divide the deck, stacking them face down. Each turn, players compare the top card of their stacks, and the highest wins both.

Use two decks of shuffled cards,split them in half and turn them over, each player flips one card at a time higher card wins them.
