How do you remove a 2001 Ford Windstar radio?
Locate the holes on either side of the radio. Slide the tips of one of the DIN tools into the holes on one side of the stereo. Repeat on the other side of the stereo with the other DIN tool. Push the tools into the stereo as far as they will go. Pull the tools away from each other. You should feel the stereo locks disengage, allowing you to pull the tools toward you. Pull the radio all the way out of the dash. Disconnect the wiring harness and antenna from the back of the unit. ChaCha!
