How do you restore an iTouch that has a passcode?
You will have to follow some steps to restore your iTouch. This will delete all of the music currently on your iTouch. 1) Force a restore. 2) Disconnect from PC. 3) Hold the sleep button until it prompts to slide to turn off. 4) Turn off. 5) Launch iTunes. 6) Hold the Home button and keep it held in while you plug the Touch into the PC. 7) iTunes should prompt you to restore. You have to re-sync to put your files back on. Write down your password next time! ChaCha!
