How do you take the door panels off of a 1996 Ford Contour?
To remove the door panels from a 1996 Ford Contour, first locate the screw in the driver latch assembly. Take the screw out with a Phillips head screwdriver. Pull the trim out and around door the handle. Disconnect the wiring in the back of the trim. Pry the seat control panel back. Disconnect the wiring by pulling the connector off the back of the switch. Locate the screw on the side of the door panel. Unscrew it with a Phillips head screwdriver. Lift the panel out gently. ChaCha on!
