How do you update Rosters on Madden 12?
To update Madden NFL 12 rosters, you need an EA Online Pass username and sign in. Go to Redeem Code and put in the 12 digit code that came with your game (it is inside on a card). You'll be prompted to download the free Online Pass file. Go to online communities and select the option that lets you join a game. You'll be prompted to download an updated roster. Once that's done, you can get out of the online option and use the new roster.
