How do you use FaceTime?
FaceTime works by connecting an iPhone 4, a fourth generation iPod touch, a second generation iPad, or a computer with Mac OS X to another similar device; the previous generations of iPhone and iPod Touch are not currently supported. FaceTime is not compatible with non-Apple devices or any other video calling services.

To use facetime on an ipod you simply call someone as you normally would and touch the button that says "FaceTime." Unfortunately, the iPod Touch doesn't have a phone App, which means you can't just dial someone's number and initiate a FaceTime call.
