How do you write fractions as percents?
Take the fraction and divide the numerator (the number on top) by the denominator (the number on bottom) resulting in a decimal. For example, using the fraction 7/10, divide 7 by 10, yielding the decimal .7. For conversion purposes, if the resulting decimal has only a tenths place (or one number after the decimal point) add a zero. So .7 becomes .70.
