How does Alex Gaskarth get his guitar tone in the Straight To DVD show?
Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low uses an '87 Gibson Les Paul Standard and 3 Gibson SG-X's (Coral Pink, Sea-foam Green and Sunshine Yellow), and for live shows they tune down half a step. According to him "the strings and tunings I use are: Ernie Ball Regulars (11 gauge), Tunings: Standard, Drop-D, DADGAD." Hope this helps you get his tone, he's great! ChaCha!
