How does heat affect the environment?
Climate change is expected to contribute to some air quality problems (IPCC, 2007). Respiratory disorders may be exacerbated by warming-induced increases in the frequency of smog (ground-level ozone) events and particulate air pollution.

About Climate Change
Climate change is a change in the earth's climate over a period of time. Though climate change can be caused by changes in the earth's orbit and other global events, 97 out of 100 scientists believe that current changes in Earth's climate, specifically global warming trends, are caused by man-made activity, particularly the burning of fossil fuels. (Proceedings of the Nat'l Academy of Scientists, 2010)
