Taxidermy is a mix of many disciplines -- sculpting, woodworking, sewing, painting, carpentry and tanning. Taxidermists stretch the animal's skin over sculpted molds, or mannequins, typically made from polyurethane foam after they remove intestines, bones, and other parts of the animal. ChaCha!
