How does the fair labor standards act affect the wages paid by many firms?
The 1961 FLSA Amendment applies only when the business is involved in interstate commerce and its gross annual business volume is a minimum of $500,000. All employees working for these "enterprises" are then covered by the FLSA so long as the individual firms of the "enterprise have a revenue greater than $500,000 per year. ChaCha!
