About Holocaust
The Holocaust (called Shoah in Hebrew) was the systematic execution of Jews during World War 2. From 1933 - 1945 (the war's end), approximately six million Jews were executed by Nazi Germany and in Nazi-controlled territories. If the Holocaust is expanded to include other targeted populations - Gypsies, Soviets, homosexuals, Polish citizens, people with disabilities, Jehovah's Witnesses, and other religious and political enemies - then between 11 million and 17 million victims were executed.
