How does the novel Peak end?
The saddest part is that he is once again angry with his father and doesn’t want to see him again. And he didn’t make the summit of Mount Everest by 10 feet. He makes it home just in time for his sister’s birthday parties. Which is really special to his family, because Peak has not missed one of the twin’s birthdays. To the twins it means the world to them for their big brother to safely home. Peak’s mother is very happy at the end of the book because her son is at home and he was safe on his journey to Mount Everest.
