How far should a 13 year old be able to hit a baseball?
It all depends on his size at this age. My son was 13 and his longest homerun was 360 ft but has hit the centerfield fence when he had just turned 14 which was 402 ft and hit several over 330ft- 360. That was in June 2010 and was about 5ft 11in 195 but now he is 6ft 210 and will be 15 in July 2011. But do not worry about homeruns but "on base percentage" is key.
