How hard does a caterpillar bite?
Caterpillars don't pack much of a bite (they mostly use their mouths to eat leaves) Some types do have venomous barbs/hairs that can cause skin irritation in humans, their main defense mechanism is usually bright colors & tasting bad to predators.
