The agency's goal is to protect and defend the United States against terrorist threats, enforce the criminal laws of the US, and provide criminal justice services to federal, state, municipal governments within the U.S. The FBI also works with international governments that are partners of the U.S.
About Martin Luther King
Martin Luther King, Jr., born Jan. 15, 1929, was an African American minister, civil rights activist, and American hero. He was assassinated April 4, 1968. King was known for his non-violent resistance methods and his pursuit of civil rights for African Americans.
