How has the worlds climate changed over time?
Temperature readings taken around the world in recent decades, & scientific studies of tree rings, corals, & ice cores, show that average global temperatures have risen since the industrial revolution began, with increases accelerating over the past few decades. Scientists state that these changes are mostly due to fossil fuel burning and deforestation. ChaCha!

About Climate Change
Climate change is a change in the earth's climate over a period of time. Though climate change can be caused by changes in the earth's orbit and other global events, 97 out of 100 scientists believe that current changes in Earth's climate, specifically global warming trends, are caused by man-made activity, particularly the burning of fossil fuels. (Proceedings of the Nat'l Academy of Scientists, 2010)
