How have animals adapted to living in the desert?
Finding food and avoiding predators is very important to all animals in the desert. Since most desert animals search for food at night, they must adapt to the night life. An example of this is the numerous species of the desert fox. They have large ears that get rid of excess heat and provide them with sensitive hearing so that they can catch their prey in the dark.
