Skydivers are dropped 12,500 feet AGL (Above Ground Level), sometimes up to 14,500 depending on the altitude of the drop zone.

About Skydiving
Skydiving is an activity as old as the early 1800s, when people realized they may need to get out of a balloon while at altitude, before it isn't anymore. Skydiving is the act of jumping from a flying machine, free falling and releasing a parachute to allow the skydiver to survive a jump from 14,000 feet.
