How is Jekyll described in Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, and how does Jekyll feel about Utterson?

Rate This Answer

Dr Jekyll has many friends and has a friendly personality, he is the complete opposite of his alter-ego, Mr Hyde. He mentions himself that he feels like a Charlatan. Utterson is described as a measured, and at all times emotionless, bachelor—who nonetheless seems believable, trustworthy, tolerant of the faults of others, and indeed genuinely likeable, which seems to be in line on how Jekyll feels about him.
