Both Mexico and the United States of America are Federal Representative Republics. In the United States, there are two main political parties, while Mexico has several political parties, with three being the most important. In the US, the president has a 4-year term with possibility of two terms while in Mexico, the president has a six year term with no reelection. ChaCha!
