How is the water cycle affected by global warming?
Global warming intensifies the movement of water through the cycle, because many of the processes involved are temperature-dependent. Effects include the long-term redistribution of water, accelerated water movement between reservoirs, and shifting weather and climate patterns. ChaCha!

About Global Warming
Global warming is the warming of the planet caused by human activity, including burning fossil fuels and cutting down forests. Carbon emissions are known to cause the planet to heat up, and the burning of fossil fuels creates carbon emissions as a byproduct.
About Water
Water is by far the most important substance on Earth. Water covers over 70 percent of the planet and makes up between 50 and 75 percent of the human body. In fact, it's one of the only things we are positive needs to be present for life to exist. When scientists look for life in our solar system and on exoplanets, they are looking for liquid water.
