How long can a gold fish stay outside of water?
Depending on its, size, state of health, and age, a goldfish could survive out of water from 2-10 minutes, however being outside of water is not good for the fish and may result in asphyxiation and death. Goldfish gills cannot breathe air and require water to live. The goldfish is a freshwater fish in the family Cyprinidae of order Cypriniformes.
