How long do fever blisters last?
It varies. What to do for a fever blister is to rub salt on the blister while it's opened. It's going to sting somewhat, but it really does work. It helps to dry up the wound and it closes it faster; thus speeding up the healing time.

Fever blisters usually last 7 to 10 days. Apply medicated ointment as soon as the bump appears and take Ibuprofen for pain.
