How long do the effects of one dose of Prozac last?
There are several different Prozac delivery systems. One is a weekly which releases 90 mg per day. In controlled trials used to support the efficacy of fluoxetine, patients were administered morning doses ranging from 20 to 80 mg/day. The effects last about 24 hours.
