How long does a landlord have until he can kick you out?
In Illinois, eviction for nonpayment of rent has a 5-day notice period, and a renter has a right to cure the problem by paying the back rent. Lease violations are on a 10-day notice, & a landlord does not have to provide a remedy to restore tenancy.
