How long does a spouse have to pay alimony in the state of California?
As I understood the Ca. courts during my divorce, alimony is typically paid at 1/2 the term of the marriage, You need to talk to a lawyer. It is up to a judge, ultimately, regardless of what you here or read. The judge has the final word. ChaCha on!
