How long does it take for a jet liner to go from new york to los angels?
If you can find a nonstop flight then it should take about 5 hours in the air, though of course the time spent at the airports will add many more hours to that.

An hour consists of sixty minutes. We measure out our days in hours; when we are having fun, an hour is short. While we are suffering, an hour is very very long. They were 'illuminated,' that is, their texts were illustrated in gold ink and brilliant colors. The Cloisters Museum in NYC has a wonderful collection of Books of Hours.
