How long does it take it take to digest gum?
Your body can't digest gum; it leaves the body intact in your stool. It doesn't take 7 years though!

The gum does not digest completely, but it is still pushed through the digestive system. Length of time varies, but not 7 years.

If you swallow the gum, it passes through the intestine without being digested or absorbed and it is excreted in the feces.

Less than 24 hours. It is not "digested" but rather exits in much the same shape as it went in.
