About Pilates
Pilates was developed in the 20th century by Joseph Pilates in Germany. More than 11 million people practice Pilates in the United States as of 2005. Pilate’s focuses on the core postural muscles which help keep the body balanced. Using Pilates during pregnancy has been claimed to be a highly valuable and beneficial form of exercise.
