How long does playstation network mantenance happen?
The PlayStation Network has been down for several hours worldwide as Sony mentions it's for maintenance. There is no set time when it will be done, representatives with Sony said: We're aware certain functions of PlayStation Network are down. We will report back here as soon as we can with more information. We will also provide updates when we can via our @PlayStationUS twitter feed. Thank you for your patience.

The PlayStation Network is Sony's free online multiplayer gaming and digital media service for the PlayStation 3, PSP, and PS Vita. The service started in 2006, and currently has over 77 million registered accounts. On April 19, 2011, the PlayStation Network was the target of a massive hack, as the personal information of millions of users was stolen. The service went down for nearly a month before coming back online in the US.
