How long does weed stay in your system?

Marijuana, pot, weed, chronic, whatever you call it will stay in ur system from 3 weeks to 1 1/2 months depending on how much u smoke. THC, which is what gets u high, is stored in ur fat cells and takes time to wear off. Don't listen to kids or random websites, pot will stay w/ u, there are cleaning potions that help speed it up, but it's a waiting game. ChaCha rocks!

THC in marijuana is rapidly absorbed by fatty tissues in various organs. Generally, traces (metabolites) of THC can be detected by standard urine testing methods several days after a smoking session. In heavy users traces can be found for weeks.

Generally, THC can be detected in urine days after smoking. In heavy users, it can be detected for weeks after they have stopped.
