A grinch is a bitter, conniving, and diabolical creature who hates Christmas found in Dr. Seuss' 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas'. Because of his hatred for celebrations, a grinch is generally defined as anyone who ruins enjoyment, or is grouchy, contrary, and spoils the fun of others.
