How long should I leave an egg in boiling water to hard boil it?
To boil an egg: Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes for soft eggs or 10 to 15 minutes for hard eggs. Then make it deviled and send to me.

Hard water has a high concentrate of minerals like calcium and magnesium. Hard water is rarely bad for ones health, but it can really muck up industrial applications and make your shower heads and faucets look kinda gross. If you are not sure if your water is hard, try agitating some soap in a water sample. If it gets nice and foamy, your water is soft.
