About Lollapalooza
Lollapalooza is an annual music festival that is held at Chicago's Grant Park. The fest began in 1991 as a touring rock circus that featured non-mainstream alternative rock bands and rap artists. The current configuration of Lollapalooza spans three days and features artists big and small. Everyone from Lady Gaga to Ween has performed on one of Lollapalooza's many stages.
About The Flaming Lips
The Flaming Lips are an American psychedelic rock band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They are known for their amazing live shows that incorporate giant confetti cannons, laser pointers, and even a life-size UFO spaceship. Frontman Wayne Coyne begins each show by walking across the audience in a giant plastic bubble.
