About Ambien
Ambien is a sedative used for the short-term treatment of insomnia, which a disorder in which the patient has difficulty falling or staying asleep. The drug affects chemicals in your brain that could become unbalanced and affect sleeping habits. This medication is effective for treating insomnia, but also has some interesting side effects. For instance, there have been documented cases of users sleep walking, having conversations and even driving while on the medication and then have no recollection of ever doing any of these tasks. For this reason, it’s imperative for any sleep aid that it is only used when the patient can get a full seven to eight hours of sleep.
About Heart Failure
Heart failure, also known as congestive heart failure, is a long-term chronic condition in which the heart can no longer pump oxygen rich blood to the rest of the body. It can affect either the right or left sides of the heart, but more often than not both sides of the heart are involved. Heart failure is most often caused by coronary artery disease (CAD), which is when the small blood vessels that supply both blood and oxygen to the heart become constricted. Heart failure can also occur when an infection weakens the heart, this is called cardiomyopathy.
