How many DNA fragments will be produced if The GAATTC palindrome is repeated four times on the same piece of linear DNA, and the restriction enzyme that recognizes that base sequence is present and digests the DNA?
Unfortunately, it seems that this question is posed all over the internet, but nobody seems to know the answer. Perhaps a genetic biologist or an AP molecular biologist professor would know the answer to how many DNA fragments would remain in this situation, but since I am an English teacher in my real life, I cannot help you with this quandary.
