How many DNA strands exist after one molecule of DNA has been replicated? GOOGLE IT?
In a procaryote, before fission takes place there are 2 circular strands of DNA. In a eucaryote, prior to separation of daughter cells, there are 2 copies of each chromosome. In a gamete each resulting cell has one allele or copy of the chromosome.
