How many loops are in the circulatory system of a reptile?
Amphibians: The unoxygenated blood enters the right atrium then to the single ventricle then to the lungs (one loop). It come back to the left atrium, then the same ventricle and then to the body (second loop). Reptiles: Same as the amphibians except the ventricle is partially divided by a structure called a septum. 2 Loops.
