How many people a year die from papilary thyroid cancer every year?
In 2008, 37,340 cases of this cancer were diagnosed. 1,590 of those patients died of the cancer that year. The American Society of Clinical Oncology began working on a cure for the cancer during the same year. Fascinating!!!
